In June 2026, Amanda Baber and Emilie Merz proudly took ownership of The Royal Med Spa, bringing together their unique talents, business experience, and shared passion for helping clients look and feel their best.
Amanda Baber
Amanda graduated from Capitol Beauty School in 2017, earning her license in esthetics. Her journey in the beauty industry began even earlier, when she started seeing clients in a small rented treatment room. Thanks to her dedication, expertise, and exceptional client care, her business quickly grew. In 2017, she established Adore LLC and opened her own beauty studio in Omaha, Nebraska.
Amanda continued to expand her entrepreneurial success by opening and managing Onyx Salon in 2021, followed by a second Onyx location in 2026. Throughout her career, she has remained committed to educating clients about skincare health and helping them achieve their aesthetic goals with confidence.
Known for her compassionate approach and attention to detail, Amanda is passionate about creating a warm, welcoming, and inclusive environment where every client feels comfortable, valued, and cared for.
Emilie Merz
Emilie graduated from Peru State College in 2014 and has been co-owning and operating a successful custom printing and design business with her husband in Southeast Nebraska since 2015. Her experience in entrepreneurship has given her a strong foundation in customer service, marketing, operations, and business management.
A longtime skincare enthusiast, Emilie has been a loyal client of The Royal Med Spa since its early days under Misty’s ownership. Her appreciation for the industry, combined with her business expertise, made joining The Royal Med Spa a natural fit.
As the driving force behind many of the behind-the-scenes operations, Emilie focuses on creating exceptional client experiences, supporting the team, and helping the business continue to grow. She looks forward to pursuing professional education and certification in aesthetics as her children get older, allowing her to further combine her passion for skincare with her entrepreneurial background.
